This property had no chimney and a modern gas fire was in situ.

Firstly the original fireplace was removed and then a new chimney breast constructed.

A mantel beam was fitted during construction and the internal reveals of the fire opening were built using Bradstone.

The stove was connected to a new Twin Wall Insulated flue system which continued through the bedroom and loft space above and finally through the roof.
